At Weedon PSC we recognise we have a responsibility to the environment, and that the way we design and manufacture corrugated packaging and displays has a significant impact.

We also know that well designed packaging can help you, our customer, ‘go green’ – and at the same time reduce your costs at every stage of the supply chain, from design and manufacture through distribution to sales.

• We have pioneered the concept of ‘right-sizing’ – eliminating unnecessary packaging, extra boxes or layers, and using fewer or lighter components where possible.
• Our skilled design team is able to specify the optimum materials for your job.
• We have worked with our suppliers to develop our own high performance speciality board grades that can perform the same or better than the equivalent, more conventional grades.

All this reduces the price of your packaging and can have a major effect on both your transportation and your waste disposal costs.

We offer a range of environmentally-friendly corrugated packaging including Cordeck® corrugated pallets – a patented 100% recyclable recyclable system aimed at replacing existing wooden pallets.

We prioritise the use of post-consumer recycled material (PCR), materials made from renewable resources and recycled, recyclable and compostable materials. We only use water-based inks in the printing of our packaging.

We comply with all relevant environmental legislation. We adhere to the guidelines drawn up by the ECR (Effective Consumer Response) Workgroup (the ‘5 Easys’), designing packaging for easy disposal, ie quick to flatten after use and with no mixed material that cannot be separated, so that it is easy to recycle. Everything we manufacture is 100% recyclable.
