EFI Colour Proofer
In line with continued high levels of service and as further investment in producing high quality artwork, Weedon PSC has recently invested in an EFI Colour Proofing System.
The system will allow the Weedon PSC graphic and design team to produce contract quality proofs which will conform to ISO international standards. The system can be used for both screen printing and litho files.
John Weedon, Managing Director said; “The EFI colour proofing system is a great technical piece of equipment. It will allow Weedon PSC to go the extra yard in managing customer print expectations as proofs can be produced to a highly colour accurate prediction in order to give retailers a final press result.”
The EFI colour proofing system has self calibrating facilities which allows the system to be kept within ISO standards, meaning that as well as creating highly accurate proofs for screen printers Weedon PSC can consistently produce and create litho proofs in the knowledge that any global printers working to the same ISO standards will be able to hit the proof to the same standards.
In addition to the above all studio monitors will be calibrated giving the art workers greater confidence that the colour balance on screen will be replicated on the proof as often files can look different when are viewed on different monitors.
